Sarah Saltzberg (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Steve Rosen (Monty Python's Spamalot), and David Rossmer (Fiddler on the Roof), in conjunction with Joe's Pub, will present "Don't Quit Your Night Job," new monthly comedy benefit featuring a revolving cast of Broadway and Off-Broadway's brightest stars (from such shows as Spelling Bee, Spamalot, Sweeney Todd, Avenue Q, Producers, Rent, Five Course Love and Altar Boyz, to name a few) performing without a net.

The first show will be presented on Monday, June 26 at 11:30 PM, with shows on Thursday, July 27 and Thursday, August 31 to follow.

"Don't Quit Your Night Job" will be an evening of improv, music, original sketch comedy and backstage anecdotes to benefit Wendy Wasserstein's Open Doors program. Music direction will be by Dan Lipton. A complete list of performers will be announced soon.

"Open Doors, TDF's theatre arts mentoring program for high school students, was started in 1998 by TDF with the late playwright Wendy Wasserstein. Its goal is to explore the relevance of theatre in the lives of today's youth. Dedicated theatre professionals each mentor a group of eight underserved high school students, who have had no exposure to the theatre, for an entire school year. They attend six Broadway and/or Off Broadway productions, followed by a lively, 90 minute post-performance discussions. The students keep a journal to document, expand and reflect on their experiences. Through this fund, each student receives TKTS gift certificates and thus is encouraged to attend the theatre independently throughout their college years," state press notes.

Tickets are $15, and are available now by calling 212-539-8778. Visit www.joespub.com for more information.
