The Odd Couple, the Neil Simon comedy starring Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick that opens tonight, may be officially sold-out, but donors to the Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut can still procure tickets. A few hundred tickets for the October 29th performance at 8 PM will be given in exchange for donations.

"Silver Hill Hospital, a distinguished psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut, is offering tickets to this performance of The Odd Couple as a way to say "thank-you" to contributors to its capital campaign. Donations to this not-for-profit hospital are tax deductible," according to press notes. "Silver Hill Hospital believes that the environment of care is as important as the techniques of care. The hospital's beautiful 45-acre country campus in New Canaan, Connecticut offers a homelike, safe and dignified setting that patients need to foster and nurture their recovery process. Silver Hill launched its capital campaign to restore this unique healing environmen – a standout among psychiatric hospitals in this country."

Directed by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello (Assassins, Take Me Out, Wicked), The Odd Couple also stars Lee Wilkof (Democracy, Kiss Me, Kate, Little Shop of Horrors) as Vinnie, Rob Bartlett (Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors revival) as Speed, Brad Garrett ("Everybody Loves Raymond") as Murray the Cop, Peter Frechette (Eastern Standard, Our Country's Good) as Roy, Olivia d'Abo ("The Wonder Years," Wayne's World 2) as Gwendolyn Pigeon and Jessica Stone (Grease, How to Succeed...) as Cecily Pigeon.

The Odd Couple relates the platonic love story of two very mismatched men--neatnik photographer Felix Unger (Broderick) and sportswriting sloven Oscar Madison (Lane). Sharing a room, their initial warm feelings for one another are tested when their lifestyles clash.

The revival is produced by
Emanuel Azenberg, Ira Pittelman, Jeffrey Sine, Max Cooper and Ben Sprecher. The Odd Couple features
sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by Ann Roth and lighting design by Kenneth Posner.
