Picking up where Bob Hope left off, Don Barnhart continues to bring laughter and comedy shows to the troops stationed around the world by kicking off his DeEvolution of Man Tour with stops overseas for the military.

Don Barnhart's Laughter For The Troops will once again head overseas bringing comedy shows to the troops stationed around the world. The award winning comedian, author and filmmaker just wrapped up the Las Vegas debut of his new sketch comedy and improv show The Misfit Nation and his DeEvolution of Man Stand Up Tour played to sold out shows at the MGM in Las Vegas.

"It's our way to serve our country," added Barnhart who recently published his new book Finding Your Funny. Don's new book is a must read for anyone interested in a career in the humor industry. Finding Your Funny is great for stand ups, comedy writers, variety performers and anyone else that has an interest in comedy business.

Named "Best Bet" by the Las Vegas Review Journal, Barnhart's DeEvolution of Man tour is part one man show, part stand up and full on funny and the award-winning comedian keeps audiences of all ages howling with laughter and coming back for more.

Barnhart has handpicked three of the top comedy headliners to join him as they head overseas to entertain the military around the world. "Not only are these guys hysterical but we're all great friends. They're part of my 'A' list of comedians to tour with," said Barnhart in a recent interview. "We can't say exactly where we're going but we're talking about circumventing the globe on this one."

It's not uncommon for Barnhart to perform in war zones as he's been everywhere from Bosnia to Afghanistan. Barnhart's team includes Slade Ham from XM/Sirrius, Jeff Capri from Comedy Central and Bob Kabota from Last Comic Standing who have all taken time out of their regular tours to go overseas to perform for the military.

Since 1991, Don Barnhart Entertainment has been producing and performing for the military stationed around the world bringing the top entertainers to the troops. Recent tours include comedy legend George Wallace and American Idol finalist James Durbin.

In his new book, Barnhart shares his personal experiences, pitfalls and successes as a 25-year veteran of the comedy industry. Finding Your Funny also features interviews and quotes about the comedy business from bookers, agents, managers and some famous and not so famous comedians and other performers.

You may not know Don Barnhart by name but you should as he performs over 300 day a year on the road and much of that has been dedicated to entertaining our troops around the world. He is also the author of Creating The Life You Desire, Freeloader and a contributing author on I Killed: True Stories from the Road. In his recent book, Finding Your Funny, Barnhart speaks about entertaining the troops and what comedians really need to know to make it a successful tour.

Don is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and in 2000; Barnhart relocated to Las Vegas and founded The Las Vegas Comedy Institute where he teaches stand up, improv and comedy writing. The LVCI also conducts acting and voice over classes.

Barnhart was selected as one of the celebrity judges in this year's Laughlin Comedy Fest and in 2014 he was one of the featured headline acts alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Dana Carvey, Tim Meadows, MaryEllen Hooper and Felipe Esparza.

Barnhart also joined a star-studded panel of industry heavyweights at the Laughlin Fest and has been featured as the guest speaker at several other prominent comedy festivals across the country with his Business of Comedy and Entertaining The Troops Seminars.

"Contests are a great way for newer comics to get seen by the industry, network and if they're talented and lucky win some money so they can quit their day job and turn pro" said Barnhart from a recent interview. In Finding Your Funny, Barnhart speaks candidly about comedy and contests and he should know because in 2001 he became the Grand Champion in American Idol's - Online Comedy Contest.

Barnhart's stand up includes part of his DeEvolution of Man Comedy Tour which is as entertaining as it is poignant. Barnhart has been meeting with venues in Las Vegas about becoming a resident headliner to fill in the void left after comedy legends George Wallace and Louie Anderson both wrapped up their shows earlier in the year.

Don can also be seen playing a psychotic mad man in the new web series Max Justice.

Earlier this year, Barnhart wrapped production on the cannabis comedy Reefer Rendum and is currently in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader, which he wrote and stars in.
