Dodge City Entertainment presents the New York premiere of The Other Man, by Mark Botts and Bryant Martin, directed by Ms. Kimberly Faith Hickman, which will begin performances on Wednesday February 22, 2012, at 410 West 42nd Street in the Studio Theatre between 9th and 10th Avenues.

The Other Man tells the story of Tom Donaghy who has two days to find Lisa, the woman he loved before he was sent to prison, before he is extradited for crimes that he committed. To find her, he has to go to the one person who knows where she is. Raphael Cardozzo --- the local mob boss, her former drug dealer and the man she had an affair with.

This is the first play to be produced by the writing partnership of Mark Botts and Bryant Martin.  The cast features the talents of Kimberly Maresca, Kara Durrett, Jens Rasmussen, and Bryant Martin.

Kimberly Faith Hickman is a director and choreographer based in NYC.  She has worked on Broadway and Off-Broadway with productions at Atlantic Theatre Company, Women’s Project, Epic Theatre Ensemble and PTP / NYC at Atlantic Stage 2.  Regional credits include Williamstown Theatre Festival (WilliamstownMA), Westport Country Playhouse (WestportCT), Next Act Theatre (MilwaukeeWI), Springer Opera House (ColumbusGA), Off Square Theatre Company (Jackson Hole, WY), Playhouse on the Square (MemphisTN) and national touring companies Capstone Theatricals and Springer Theatricals.

“We wanted to do something that pumps out the action but is a little more cerebral, primal, and darker than your typical run of the mill action piece.  Rough and tumble guys saying things and speaking in a way that you’re not accustomed to hearing.  Ultimately, it’s about two people who desperately need each other.  It’d be like if ‘The Notebook” and “Reservoir Dogs” got together and had a baby” says Bryant Martin, co-writer and actor, in The Other Man.
