PIN* AND THE BLUE FAIRY is a new play in development with OUTLIERS Theatre Co, based on Collodi's classic The Adventures of Pinocchio. The play examines the wooden puppet's journey to become a proper boy through the eyes of a contemporary trans teenager named Blue. As Blue attempts to find their own path, they turn to Pin's tale, and their stories intertwine in a search for understanding, transformation, and personal truth.

Written by noah kat baus, and directed, co-choreographed, and conceived by Adin Walker, this workshop of PIN* AND THE BLUE FAIRY brings together an exciting 17-person team of queer, trans, non-binary, and ally artists.

The cast includes Jesse James Keitel (Normativity), Tom Phelan* (ABC's The Fosters, Taylor Mac's HIR), Jerry Clicquot, Jax Jackson, Ian Fields Stewart, Soph Menas*, and Raven White.

The full company includes Sophie Andreassi (associate director, co-choreographer), Lauren Feldman (dramaturgy), Rebecca Feldman (casting), Miriam Salzman (stage manager), Kelley Shih (lighting design), Jesse James Keitel (costume design), Wesley Cornwell (design consultant), Ben Gunderson (producer), and Adam Hyndman (associate producer).
