Deborah Gibson is returning to the role of Sally Bowles in the North Carolina Theater's production of Cabaret Feb. 25 - March 5. Previews start on Feb. 24.

Gibson last played Sally Bowles in the Broadway revival at Studio 54, spring 2003. Gibson has also been in the Broadway's Grease (Revival), Beauty and the Beast, and Les Miserables. She starred as Velma Kelly in Chicago at the North Shore Music Theatre Oct. 2002.

Gibson is most famous as a pop singer/songwriter with her 1987 hit single "Foolish Beat" from her debut album Out of the Blue. Gibson can currently be seen on FOX's "Skating with the Stars."

Cabaret has lyrics by Fred Ebb, a book by Joe Masteroff, and music by John Kander. Cabaret kicks off the 2006 season at NCT's mainstage.
