Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) presents its 2014 annual gala, New York In June, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night-only event will be held on Monday, June 30 with an 8pm concert performance featuring Broadway and Prospect stars. The evening's program will include songs from Prospect's 15 years developing and producing new musical theater by emerging artists, including recent productions of Jasper in Deadland, Tamar of the River, and Unlock'd, as well as sneak peak performances from upcoming shows! Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's ongoing mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.

Performers currently scheduled to appear include Tony Award nominees Stephen Bogardus (Love! Valour! Compassion!, Falsettos) and David Pittu (LoveMusik, Is He Dead?), who join David Abeles (Once, The Pursuit of Persephone), Jenn Gambatese (Tarzan, All Shook Up, Iron Curtain), Piper Goodeve (The Pursuit of Persephone, Anne of Green Gables), Jessica Grové (Illyria, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Heather Mac Rae (Hair, I Married Wyatt Earp), Pearl Sun (If/Then, Happiness) and Brendan Milburn (Striking 12) - with company alumni Andrew Brewer (Nymph Errant),Jillian Gottlieb and Christopher Gunn (Unlock'd), Andi Alhadeff and John-Michael Lyles (Jasper in Deadland) withCharlie Franklin, Aubrey Sinn and Robby Sharpe (Iron Curtain), and members of the company of Tamar of the River: composer Marisa Michelson with Ako, Jennifer Anaya, Troy Burton, Tamrin Goldberg, Jeremy Greenbaum, Erik Lochtefeld, Mike Longo, and Vince B. Vincent. The evening will be co-hosted by Prospect alumni and Broadway veterans, David Perlman (Iron Curtain, Baby It's You!) and Laura Beth Wells (The Rockae, Spiderman)!

Prospect's 2014 Gala Committee members are Roger Berlind, Amanda and Brian Goehring, Anne and Mary Goulet, The Susan Gurman Agency, Carol Hall and Leonard Majzlin, Brian and Darlene Heidtke, Carol Hickey, Suzanne and Thorley Mills Jr., Stephen Schwartz, Harriet Slaughter, Alex Timbers, and Karen Ziemba.
