The Barrow Group (312 West 36th St.) will inaugurate their newly completed
99-seat theatre with the premiere of David Edgar's PENTECOST on February 28th. Previews begin on February 16th.

PENTECOST deals with an art curator and a British art historian as they weigh
the authenticity of what appears to be a Giotto painting hidden in an
abandoned church in Europe. A clash of cultures ensues as a series of events leads to the discovery that an Arab painted the Fresco about 800 years prior to Giotto's work, indicating that Western art and culture sprang from the Middle East.

PENTECOST, written by David Edgar includes Set Design by Markas Henry,
Lighting Design by Rob Cangemi, and Costumes by Moe Schell.

Performances for PENTECOST are Wednesdays – Mondays at 8 PM and Saturday Matinees are at 2 PM.

Tickets are $40.00 and can be purchased at www.smarttix.com or by calling
(212) 868-4444.

The Barrow Group's new Theatre is located at 312 W. 36th Street on the 3rd
Floor.
