Darren Criss Declines Hosting Offer for THE X FACTOR

According to E!Online, Broadway veteran Darren Criss was asked to host Season 2 of FOX's 'The X Factor.' A source told E! that the HOW TO SUCCEED alum 'politely declined the gig' because of his busy schedule.

Past judges on The X Factor include Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, and L.A. Reid. Auditions for Season 2 of THE X FACTOR USA begin this month.
Prior to his role as "Blaine Anderson" on "Glee," Darren Criss was best-known for playing "Harry Potter" in Team StarKid's A Very Potter Musical and Sequel, for which he contributed to the musical scores. He also conceptualized the story and provided the music and lyrics for Team StarKid's recent musical, Starship.
