Dance Theatre of Harlem invites patrons to celebrate the theatre's 43rd anniversary at its most prominent fundraising event of the year, "Vision Gala" on Tuesday February 28, 2012 in the Main Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel (80 Columbus Circle at 60th Street). This black tie event will be cocktails at 6:30pm, dinner at 7:30pm, followed by dancing and performances by the Dance Theatre Harlem Ensemble and students from the Dance Theatre of Harlem School and special guest artists.

Proceeds benefit the Next Generation Fund, which provides scholarships and financial assistance in the Dance Theatre of Harlem School and the Community Engagement Fund, which supports arts education and community programs. "Vision Gala" will be honoring Harry Belafonte, the Honorary Chairperson this year will be Lynn Whitfield with Soledad O'Brien as the Special Guest Host. There will also be an announcement of the new dancers selected for the Dance Theatre of Harlem Company followed by a preview performance.

Tickets are: $2,500 Platinum, $1,500 Gold, $1,000 Friend (Include priority seating and 5 named fellowships for the Dance Theatre of Harlem School). The non-tax deductible portion of each ticket is $275. Reserved tables are: $25,000 Platinum, $15,000 Gold (Include premium seating, recognition from the podium, program listing, and 10 named fellowships for the Dance Theatre of Harlem School)
