Dana Gould Set for Comedy Works Larimer Square, 7/10-12

Dana Gould has been in the comedy world for over 30 years now. Unapologetic and off-the-wall funny, there is no middle ground in Dana's comedy.

Dana has several HBO specials to his credit as well guest appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, Maron and Real Time with Bill Maher. He has also had memorable guest appearances on TV shows like Anger Management, Seinfeld and The Ben Stiller Show, as well as in the film The Aristocrats. After writing the pilot World On A String (with Jay Kogen), Dana co-created MTV's late, lamented Super Adventure Team (with Rob Cohen).

He then joined the staff of The Simpsons, where he was a Co-Executive Producer and performed several voices for the show. He was also a producer on NBC's Parks and Recreation. Last year Dana developed a comedy pilot for FX, and played a recurring role in MOB CITY on TNT. He is currently shooting The Morning Show pilot for USA, as well as developing an animated comedy for 20th TV and The Jetsons for Conaco TV and WB animation.

Stand-up remains a big part of Dana's career. He continues to perform regularly in cities throughout the country. In 2009, Dana recorded a one-hour Showtime comedy special, Let Me Put My Thoughts In You, and in 2013 recorded his next special, I Know It's Wrong. His monthly podcast, The Dana Gould Hour, was an instant hit, frequently residing in iTunes' top ten Comedy downloads.
