Based on the 1991 movie of the same name, Dogfight premiered at New York City's Second Stage Theater in 2012 and is the winner of the 2013 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Musical and Best Choreography. Dogfight also received a 2013 Outer Critics Circle nomination for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical and a 2013 Drama League nomination for Outstanding Musical.
