Before he begins his run next February on Broadway in Disaster! THE MUSICAL, Max Crumm will appear as a serial killer in Cameron Fife's dark comedy KILLING DIAZ.

The one-act is about five friends who plot to murder an upstairs neighbor, simply to avoid an awkward conversation. Mark Gagliardi, from Comedy Central's Drunk History, plays one of the unsuspecting friends who is sucked into the sick plot. Chuck Bradley directs; Adam Brooks, Andy Fischer-Price and writer Fife round out the cast.

Diaz ran for five weeks in Los Angeles in 2009 to sold out crowds, with Crumm originating his role as the psychopath. It was his first appearance on stage since leaving the Broadway company of GREASE after winning the NBC reality program, 'Grease You're The One That I Want!'

"I just love being on stage. And working with friends is the best! Especially when you really believe in the project...this character is a trip," said Crumm, who met Cameron when he lived in Los Angeles. Max recently appeared off-Broadway in f-ing UP EVERYTHING, THE FANTASTICKS and the original production of Disaster!

This is Cameron's second play in the Midtown International Theatre Festival. His drama SEA CLOUD PARK premiered in February of 2014, for which Cameron was nominated for best director. He co-wrote the play A TRUE STORY with Tyler McGee, which also ran in Los Angeles and was made into a feature film. After a limited theatrical release, A TRUE STORY is available on VOD, DVD and Netflix.

KILLING DIAZ opens for a limited run with performances on November 18th, 20th and 21st. All performances are at the Jewel Box Theatre, located at 312 W 36th Street, 4th floor, in New York. Tickets can be purchased at web.ovationtix.com/trs/pe.c/10047529.
