Christiane Noll and Paul Nakauchi Star in THE KING AND I at Music Circus, Now thru 8/11

The King and I, one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most treasured musicals, is the next show in the 2013 Music Circus season, at the Wells Fargo Pavilion from today, August 6 - 11. With book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers, the show features the classic songs "Shall We Dance?," "Getting to Know You" and "Something Wonderful."
The King and Iwon five Tony Awards in 1951, including Best Musical, and ran for three years on Broadway. There were three subsequent Broadway productions, the most recent one in 1996. One of the all-time favorite shows of Music Circus patrons, this will be the 13th Music Circus production of The King and I. The first production was in 1956, and the most recent one was in 2005.
