As BroadwayWorld first learned last weekend in our interview with Cheyenne Jackson at the GLAAD Media Awards, the star has a new album in the works.  He exclusively revealed to BroadwayWorld that collaborators include Sia & Charlotte Sometimes, and today we have learned that the album is set for release in June.

Few details have been released on the tracks, but it was recently confirmed by Jackson himself over his Twitter account that Sony Records is helming the album. Thomas "Tawgs" Salter is set to produce the first two singles off the record. This will be Jackson's second solo disc.

Jackson has been featured in Broadway shows including XANADU, FINIAN'S RAINBOW, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and AIDA. He's been seen in such television shows such as 30 ROCK, GLEE, UGLY BETTY, and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. In addition, he also recently filmed a pilot for USA co-starring Nathan Lane. He has previously collaborated with Michael Feinstein on The Power of Two, released in 2009, featuring the music of Cole Porter, Cy Coleman, The Gershwins and Hoagy Carmichael.

BroadwayWorld will bring you more information regarding Jackson's solo album as it's made available. More information on Jackson can be found at his official website, www.cheyennejackson.com.
