According to reports from TMZ, Charlie Sheen has been deemed eligible for work release while he serves a 30-day sentence for 3rd degree misdemeanor assault.

During this time, Sheen will work at Theatre Aspen in Colorado working with actors as well as helping in the fundraising department and with other jobs around the theatre. Sheen will not accept pay for his work.

Although he will be at the theatre, reports say that Sheen will still be considered an inmate at the jail-where he will return to every night by 8pm. He can leave at 8am.

TMZ reports that the Pitkin County Sheriff's Department has agreed to the arrangement but that it still must be approved by the judge.

Sheen will return to court on Monday at 4pm to submit the plea bargain and work release to the judge.
