Celebrate V-Day with Lemley at 'Any Wednesday' concert

Any Wednesday, the concert series that celebrates the best in cabaret, jazz and Broadway, is offering a special Valentine's Day performance, which will take place at the Lincoln Center Barnes and Noble (66th Street and Broadway).

This Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., in a tribute to Hollywood's love goddess Rita Hayworth, cabaret/theater performer Quinn Lemley will give a preview of her show, The Heat Is On, playing at BB King's on February 22. "Lemley will share stories and songs associated with the cinema temptress, as well as her own take on other American standards. Bring someone you love, or perhaps you'll meet someone at the concert under the bewitching powers of Ms. Lemley and Ms. Hayworth. There's always music and romance at Any Wednesday," state press materials.

Next week, theatre and television star Charlotte Rae will perform.  Upcoming artists include: Joanne Beretta (March 7), Tony DeSare (March 14), Moira Danis (March 21), New Voices: Russell Brauer, Richard Holbrook, Jasper Kump (March 28), Mary Foster Conklin (April 18), Maude Maggart (May 30).

Any Wednesday, the concert series that celebrates the best in cabaret, jazz and Broadway, takes place at the Lincoln Center Barnes and Noble, 66th Street and Broadway. Each performance of begins at 6:00 p.m., lasts approximately 30 minutes, and is followed by an autograph/meet-and-greet session with the artist. Ample seating is available on first-come, first-served basis in the comfortable third floor events space, and, as always, there is no charge.
