Casting Announced for World Premiere of Brown's '13'

Casting has been announced for the world premiere production of the new Jason Robert Brown musical 13.

The show will run at the Center Theatre Group's Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles from December 22nd, 2006 through February 18th, 2007.  It will open on January 7th.

The show, which concerns 13 thirteen year-olds finding their way from childhood into their teens at a middle school in Appleton, Indiana, will star  Ricky Ashley, Caitlin Baunoch, Molly Bernstein, Jenáe Burrows, Emma Degerstedt, Jamie Eblen, Julia Harriman, Jordan Johnson, Tinashe Kachingwe, Tyler Mann, Sara Niemietz, Ryan Ogburn, J.D. Phillips, Ellington Ratliff, Chris Raymond, Charlie Rosen, Alex Scolari, Chloé Smith, Christian Vandal, Nehemiah Williams and Seth Zibalese.

13, with music and lyrics by Tony-winner Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years) and a book by Dan Elish, will be directed by Todd Graff (the film Camp, Baby).  Michele Lynch will choreograph the show, which will feature musical direction by David O.

David Gallo (sets), Candice Cain (costumes), Mike Baldassari (lighting), Duncan Robert Edwards (sound) and Zachary Borovay (projection) will comprise the desing team.
