The cast of Hunka Hunka Burnin' Love, An Elvis Presley Musical Tribute, will perform on WNBC's "Weekend Today in NY" on Sunday, January 15th at 8:40 AM EST.

Andy Karl (Altar Boyz, Slut), Emily Drennan (Toxic Audio) and Tom LoSchiavo (in his New York debut) star in the Elvis tribute, which will begin a three-week engagement at Au Bar (41 East 58th Street between Madison and Park Avenues) on Monday, January 16th.

Produced by Jack Lewin and directed by Kurt Stamm (both of the hit Off-Broadway musical Our Sinatra) Hunka Hunka Burnin' Love is "a new celebration of the songs of Elvis Presley, who revolutionized the music industry and became perhaps the single best known musical icon in American pop culture," according to press notes.  "Steering clear of imitation and impersonation, this homage aims a spotlight squarely on the great songs of the legendary entertainer who was born on January 8, 1935 and died on August 16, 1977.  A cast of three will take the audience on a journey through three decades of Presley's remarkable musical catalogue."

Musical Director Tedd Firth will lead a five-piece band in the show, which was written by Will Friedwald, Jay Leonhart and Lewin.

Tickets are $45-$55 (with a two drink minimum) and can be reserved by calling (212) 308-8455 or on the web at www.ticketweb.com.
