Liz Callaway will lend her silky vocals to Baby Boomer Bash when she accompanies the Boston Pops on July 1st and 2nd at the Boston Symphony Hall.

The Boston Pops, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, will back up Callaway as she performs sixties hits from her solo CD, The Beat Goes On.  "Your Mama Don't Dance," "It's My Party", "Blowin in the Wind," "Satisfaction," "Joy to the World" and "Y.M.C.A" will be some of the featured songs.

Callaway was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in 1983's Baby, and she has also appeared on Broadway in the Bacharach revue The Look of Love, Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, Cats and in the original cast of Merrily We Roll Along; she participated in the anniversary concert of the latter Sondheim show.  She was also in the recent Actor's Fund Benefit Hair concert, and Callaway's CDs include The Beat Goes On, and The Story Goes On.  She was the singing voice for the title role in the animated film Anastasia, and has also leant her voice to The Swan Princess and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.
