'Bway's Biggest Fan' Offers Chance for Free Tix, Etc.
A new contest offers the chance to be selected as "Broadway's Biggest Fan."
Press notes state: "At this year's Broadway on Broadway® concert, the spotlight is on YOU…the Broadway Fan! Do you have what it takes to attain the title of Broadway's Biggest Fan? Log on to BroadwaysBiggestFan.com and submit a 60-second video showing why you're Broadway's Biggest Fan. Videos will be judged on creativity, originality, and passion for Broadway."
"Members of the public will vote for the top three videos from a list of finalists. Those three videos will be shown on September 16 on a giant screen in Times Square during this year's Broadway on Broadway concert. The winner - Broadway's Biggest Fan - will be chosen by audience vote. As the winner, you'll get to introduce a performance in the concert, and you will take part in the grand finale with cast members from Broadway shows. The top three entries will also receive:
Two (2) tickets to the Broadway show of your choice (subject to availability)
Two (2) VIP onstage-seating tickets to "Broadway on Broadway" on Sunday September 16
And two (2) nights in a Times Square hotel
On August 27, the videos that have reached the finalist round will be announced and posted to www.BroadwaysBiggestFan.com. Broadway fans can then log on and vote for their favoritea. Anyone who votes will automatically be entered to win a Broadway prize package of Broadway memorabilia. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on September 9.
All entrants must be 13 years or older. Videos must be 60 seconds or less in length, and in .wmv, .mov, .avi, .rm, or .mpg format. Maximum file size is 10 MB. No exceptions. Please check Official Rules for use of music in video.
Only original music will be accepted.
