Broadway's NICOLE VAN GIESEN (The Wild Party, Cabaret, The Last Five Years) will headline, THE OPEN ROAD, a concert reading featuring the music of Brian Lowdermilk, this January 3rd and 4th, 2005 @ 8PM at the Lark Theater in New York city.

Van Giesen will share the stage with newcomers BILLY BUSTAMANTE, JEREMIAH DOWNES, LARRY HAMILTON, COLLEEN HAZLETT, and TARA KORBELAK. The concert will feature the music of Brian Lowdermilk, who most recently garnered critical acclaim for his musical The Woman Upstairs in the first annual New York Musical Theater Festival this past fall (www.brianlowdermilk.com). Musical staging for the event will be provided by BEN SHEAFFER who appeared on Broadway in 1776 and The Sound of Music, and is currently residing Philadelphia where he is actively working on the inception of his own theater company. Musical direction by JERRY JEAN.
