Broadway's BURN THE FLOOR To Burn Up The Airwaves This Week, Several TV Appearances Announced

BURN THE FLOOR, the Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular that just opened on Broadway, will be burning up the airwaves this week.

Scheduled appearances include:

Tomorrow, Tuesday August 11 : The cast of BURN THE FLOOR, featuring Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, will perform on "Good Morning America." GMA airs from 7-9 AM on ABC nationally, Channel 7 in New York.

On Wednesday August 12: Karina and Maksim will perform on "Live! with Regis and Kelly" which airs nationally on ABC (in NY on Channel 7 from 9-10 AM). Also on Wednesday, Maksim will be a guest on "The Wendy Williams Show" on Wed Aug 12. That is syndicated nationally and airs in NY on Channel 9 at 10 PM.

On Friday August 14: BURN THE FLOOR's director and choreographer Jason Gilkison, and Karina and Maksim will be guests on WNYC Radio's "New York & Company" hosted by Leonard Lopate. The live interview takes place from 1-1:20 PM. WNYC is New York's National Public Radio affiliate (820 AM and 93.3. FM) . It can be heard on podcast shortly after the live broadcast.

BURN THE FLOOR plays at Broadway's Longacre Theatre, 220 West 48 Street. Maksim and Karina's final performance with the show is August 16. On August 18, "Anya and Pasha" of "So You Think You Can Dance" join the company. BURN THE FLOOR runs through October 18.
