Broadway and TV Celebrities Join Acclaimed Breast Cancer Comedy 'Nice T!ts Celebrity Reading'
Amy Marcs' critically-acclaimed solo comedy gets "reconstructed" in a special celebrity reading as her roller coaster tale is joined by familiar faces from Broadway & Television including: Geneva Carr (Bull, Hand to God), Laura Kai Chen (HER, Days of Our Lives), Leigh Ann Larkin (Gypsy, Blue Bloods), and Elena Ricardo (Beautiful, Mamma Mia). A portion of the proceeds will go to The Actors Fund.
Just when life was going so well, Amy, "a sexy NY Jewess with a great rack" was diagnosed with breast cancer. With an unlikely American icon by her side, Amy navigates the hills & valleys of doctor visits, toy stores, show tune singing nurses, and her understandably healthy obsession with her breasts.
Says Marcs, "One of the goals of the show is to get the topic of breast cancer (and its aftermath) out of the closet in order to inspire and honest conversation about what it means to lose your breasts to cancer, how that impacts you, your partner, your sexuality, your identity, and even your family."
