For the second consecutive year, CBS 2's Dana Tyler hosts "Broadway Under the Stars," a popular celebration of the best of Broadway and CBS 2's official start of summer. The one-hour special airs on Saturday, June 18 at 7 PM. Featuring an all-star cast of Broadway's leading men performing classic musical numbers, the televised special is a result of an ongoing partnership with NYC & Company, The League of American Theatres and Producers and CBS 2.
Tyler joins over 15,000 fans in Bryant Park who enjoy the songbooks of Broadway legends Cy Coleman, John Kander and Fred Ebb. "Broadway Under the Stars" features a special appearance by Christina Applegate and the Radio City Rockettes and a show-stopping rendition of New York, New York from Mario Cantone, who joins the Rockettes for some high-kicking fun. Tony Award-winner Scott Wittman directs the cast of Broadway's biggest stars including performances by TV and film star Victor Garber, Michael Cerveris, Raul Esparza, Tony-winner Dan Fogler, Hunter Foster, Cheyenne Jackson, Marc Kudisch, Christopher Sieber, and Tom Wopat. Tyler also gives viewers a backstage pass to exclusive interviews with members of the cast.
