Tony nominee Grier last starred on Broadway in THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS and before that in RACE, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, DREAMGIRLS, and THE FIRST. Among his off-Broadway credits are ONE TOUCH OF VENUS, THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR and KING RICHARD III. The actor played 'The Cowardly Lion' in NBC's THE WIZ LIVE! and is well known for his work on the sketch comedy series IN LIVING COLOR.
