WLIW21 New York Public Television will present the exclusive premiere of "Sarah Brightman: DIVA--The Video Collection" this Saturday, October 28 at 7:30 pm.

The special will premiere nationwide on public television beginning November 25, 2006 (check local listings).

"The special showcases the Broadway star's illustrious career, featuring music videos accompanied by Brightman's personal narrative-and a rare interview filmed exclusively for the public television broadcast," state press notes.

Selections include the British soprano's collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber, "Time to Say Goodbye" with Andrea Bocelli, interpretations of Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever" and Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale," and other favorites (full song list below). WLIW New York will distribute "The Video Collection" nationwide to public television beginning November 25, 2006.

During the broadcast premiere, viewers will be able to support WLIW21's commitment to Sarah Brightman's music (DIVA is WLIW's fifth special with her) by calling 1.800.767.2121 or visiting www.wliw.org (click "pledge online") and making a donation. There will be various "thank you" gifts, including CDs, DVDs and WLIW membership benefits, like discounts to local museums, available.
