Craig Bierko will guest star on Creation Nation on Thursday, June 23rd at 10 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street). Presented by Ars Nova in association with Sam Forman, Creation Nation is a live talk show with original comedy sketches and musical numbers, hosted by Billy Willing and Robin Lord, with electric piano accompaniment by Eli Bolin.

Bierko has appeared on Broadway in the 2000 revival of The Music Man (for which he was nominated as Best Actor in a Musical and won a Theatre World Award) and in Thou Shalt Not, a jazzy musicalization of Zola's Therese Raquin. He co-stars with Russell Crowe and Renee Zellweger in Cinderella Man, and his other screen credits include and I'm With Lucy, The Thirteenth Floor, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Sour Grapes. He also had a recurring role as one of Carrie's boyfriends on "Sex and the City," and has appeared on numerous other TV shows.

"Ars Nova's Thursdays at 10 programming regularly hosts Creation Nation the last Thursday of every month. Directed by Benjamin Salka, Creation Nation is a unique comedy event; a pop culture infused, socio-political variety show that combines comedy sketches, original musical numbers, video segments, stand-up comedy, and live guest interviews with stars from stage and screen," according to a press article.

"Just two years ago, Ars Nova opened its doors in memory of Gabe Wiener with the goal of being a home for artists to develop and perform new works in an intimate audience setting. Since then some of New York's top writers, directors and performers have walked through their doors with ideas and walked out with projects that were ready to be taken to the next level. Some of those names include Rufus Wainwright, Sandra Bernhard, John Cameron Mitchell, Jason Biggs, Sarah Jessica Parker, Amy Sedaris, Paul Rudd, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, The Wau Wau Sisters, Moises Kaufman, James Lapine, Tony Kushner, Stephen Belber, and Michael Patrick King. Ars Nova produces theater, comedy and music events, making exciting live entertainment accessible to a New York audience at affordable prices. In addition to fully staged productions, Ars Nova offers a free play reading series (Out Loud), an alternative music and comedy series (Thursdays at 10), a musical theater series (Broadway Spotlight), a singer/songwriter series (Uncharted) and in-house writers' workshops."
