Get a backstage look at the new star-studded UK FOLLIES!

A spectacular all-star cast has been assembled for the new Royal Albert Hall concert production of Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's FOLLIES and a look inside the show is now available to view via a series of photos shared on social media by one of the show's stars, Tony Award-winning Broadway and West End icon Betty Buckley.

Of note, Betty Buckley and Peter Polycarpou recently joined Christine Baranski, Ruthie Henshall, Lorna Luft, Stefanie Powers and the rest of the starry cast for the one night only event, which took place last night.

The official description of the Royal Albert Hall's FOLLIES is as follows: "For one matinee and one evening performance only, FOLLIES in Concert makes a spectacular and rare return to the UK. With a wealth of well-known songs, including Losing My Mind, Broadway Baby and I'm Still Here, this iconic and much-loved show is being performed in celebration of composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim's 85th birthday this year. The Follies' story is set around a reunion of the past performers of the "Weissman's Follies" and focuses on two couples who are attending the reunion, Buddy and Sally Durant Plummer, and Benjamin and Phyllis Rogers Stone, as well as some of the original "Follie's girls". The former performers are reuniting on the stage of the now-decrepit theater that was once their professional home, the night before it is turned into a parking lot. Phyllis and Sally, who were best friends in their Follies days, have married Ben and Buddy, respectively. The once-close foursome has fallen out of touch. As these aging starlets reminisce, they end up hashing out old affairs, remembering who loved (and loves) whom, and reliving the roads they did and didn't take.Featuring an all-star cast including: Christine Baranski (Into The Woods, The Good Wife, Mamma Mia), Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie, Legally Blonde), Alexander Hanson (Stephen Ward the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar), Alistair Brammer (Miss Saigon, War Horse), Stefanie Powers (Hart to Hart, The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.), Ruthie Henshall (Chicago - original Roxy, LES MISERABLES), Laura Pitt-Pulford (The Sound of Music, The Light Princess), Anita Dobson (Eastenders, Chicago), Anita Harris (Carry On films, CATS), Roy Hudd (Oliver! - Fagin, Coronation Street, Good Old Days) and Russell Watson (the UK's best-selling classical artist; winner of four Classical BRIT awards), FOLLIES in Concert will be directed by Craig Revel Horwood (Strictly Come Dancing), choreographed by Andrew Wright, conducted by Gareth Valentine and supported by the City of London Philharmonic Orchestra. Be part of history and book your tickets now!"
