On Saturday, Oct. 5, New Orleans Auction Galleries will offer the bedroom suite and desk set of actress, singer-songwriter, and radio and television personality, Marla Maples.

The exquisite five-piece Italian walnut bedroom suite, estimated at $25,000 to $40,000, consists of an exuberantly carved bed, an imposing armoire, a dresser with an arched mirror, and a pair of nightstands, all artfully adorned with putti and intricately decorated with carved scrolling foliate, guilloche and shield patterns. Maples' Victorian-style two-piece desk set will also be offered in the upcoming sale.

Raised in Georgia, Maples left home for New York City at the age of 20 to pursue her acting career, ultimately making her Broadway debut in 1992 in the Tony award winning production of "The Will Roger's Follies." After a year of performing to sold out audiences, she took a leave of absence to marry entrepreneur Donald Trump and give birth to their daughter Tiffany.

Marla has gone on to perform in numerous television shows and films. She has appeared on the cover of over 25 magazines and has been featured in countless publications. She recently completed an album, "The Endless," featuring spiritual leaders such as Deepak Chopra and His Holiness the Dali Lama. Maples is also known for her humanitarian work and has been honored by organizations such as Make a Wish Foundation, American Family Housing, Shelter for the Homeless and the City of Hope.
