THE PLOT: This fabulous musical won 12 Tony Awards on Broadway and ran for six years. Mel Brooks of Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles is the madman who put it all together. It's all about this loud and pushy Broadway producer who joins forces with this mild mannered certified public accountant to produce a huge Broadway flop. And when the flop becomes a small hit, jail becomes the next stop. What's best? Maybe the chorus girl kick line. Or may dozens of old ladies dancing with walkers. Or the gorgeous babe who applies as secretary. Or the collection of lunatics dancing and singing the wildest collection of songs to be found in a show in years. You decide.

Auditions are open to the public and newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning will be asked to sing, dance and read selections from the script. Please contact the office Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm at (989) 893-5555 for more information or visit our website at www.baycityplayers.com
