BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was thrilled to sit down and speak with nearly all of this year's Tony Award nominees at the official Tony Brunch on May 2, 2012, and we will be bringing you special coverage on all of them throughout the awards season. Today we bring you Steve Kazee, nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for Once.

A theatre vet, Kazee has starred in several shows on and off-Broadway. Broadway credits include Monty Python’s Spamalot as Sir Lancelot, Starbuck opposite Audra McDonald in the Roundabout’s 110 in the Shade, To Be or Not to Be at MTC, Edward Albee’s Seascape. Regional credits include The Subject Was Roses (Kennedy Center, Helen Hayes Award nomination for Best Actor alongside Bill Pullman and Judith Ivey). Off-Broadway, he has appeared in As You Like It (NYSF). On screen, he has been seen in “Working Class” opposite Melissa Peterman, “100 Questions” (NBC), “CSI” (CBS), “NCIS” (CBS), “Numb3rs” (CBS), “Medium” (NBC), “Conviction” (NBC). 

The Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
