BWW Preview: Why You'll Say 'Oui' to AN AMERICAN IN PARIS at the Fox Cities P.A.C.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS will play at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton from February 20-25. Here are four things that make the production très bon for audiences.

1. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS snagged four Tony Awards in 2015. It also tied FUN HOME for the most nominations (12).

2. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS features familiar music by George and Ira Gershwin. Classic numbers like "I Got Rhythm" and "They Can't Take That Away from Me" are sure to get toes tapping.

3. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS is based on the 1951 film by the same name, which starred Gene Kelly as an expatriate in Paris. The movie won six Academy Awards.

4. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS has visual appeal. With plenty of spectacular (and Tony-winning) choreography by Christopher Wheeldon, audiences will never lack for something nice to look at.
