ScoBar Entertainment will present "Boardwalk Empire's" MOLLY RYAN for two shows on Tuesday, March 11 at 8:30 & 10:30pm at the Iridium. Called "A critic's favorite," by the Wall Street Journal's Will Friedwald, Molly's silvery voice & lush, elegant vocal style evoke the big band singers of the 1930's & breathe new life into familiar standards.

Since moving to New York in 2003, Molly has become one of the most sought-after vocalists on the city's jazz scene. She has performed with prominent jazz artists, as well as with the preeminent 1920's style orchestra, Vince Giordano's Nighthawks. She is a member of Gordon Au's Grand Street Stompers & has appeared throughout the country at jazz festivals, including the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee & the Sweet & Hot Music Festival in LA & at Le Petit Journal & Autour de Midi in Paris. She has also led her own group at Birdland for the club's Sunday evening showcase, Jazz Party.

Molly's debut album, Dream a Little Dream, was released in 2002 & her second, Songbird in the Moonlight, in 2008. Her new album, Swing for Your Supper, features Bucky Pizzarelli, Randy Reinhart, Dan Levinson, Vince Giordano, Kevin Dorn, Dan Barrett & Mark Shane, as well as guest vocalists Banu Gibson & Maude Maggart. Molly can also be heard with Vince Giordano's Nighthawks on the Grammy Award-winning HBO series, "Boardwalk Empire" as it enters its new season.

The concerts are set for Tuesday, March 11th at 8:30 & 10:30pm at the Iridium NYC ~ 1650 Broadway @ 51st St. Price: $25 music charge/$15 food/drink minimum. For reservations, call (212)582-2121 or visit www.theiridium.com.
