Ayala Takes Part in 'Midsummer' Kid's Day, July 14

Midsummer Night Swing -- the 19th annual outdoor summer dance series on the Lincoln Center Plaza in Manhattan - will present Kid's Day! with DanceSport's Franklin Ayala on Saturday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Josie Robertson Plaza (63rd and Columbus) at Lincoln Center.
 
Franklin Ayala - an award-winning competitive dancer and instructor at DanceSport, the largest ballroom and Latin dance studio in New York - leads this Kid's Day dance lesson, teaching children of all ages the basics of merengue, salsa and mambo. One of the most popular events of Midsummer Night's Swing, the July 14th Kid's Day also features live music by the Bongo Bruno Quartet. Ismael "Bongo Bruno" - Ismael "Bongo Bruno"—known for his work with the Buster Poindexter's band—leads the ensemble for this unique morning session of salsa instruction for kids and the entire family.
