Members of the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q - both the human and fuzzy puppet variety - will ring in the New Year with the morning crew of the Fox 5 morning program "Good Day New York" on New Year's Eve morning, Monday, Dec. 31, 2007.

"Good Day New York" is seen in the NY metropolitan area on Fox-TV, channel 5 (WNYW-TV) from 7 to 9 a.m.

Actors Ann Sanders, Sarah Stiles, Howie Michael Smith and Christian Anderson - and their puppet counterparts Kate Monster, Trekkie Monster and Rod - will be on hand at "Good Day New York" to perform the popular number "The More You Ruv Someone" from Avenue Q, share their New Year's resolutions with viewers, and sing in 2008 with a rousing rendition of "Auld Lang Syne."

Now in its 5th successful year on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre (252 W. 45 St.), Avenue Q won three 2004 Tony Awards, including for Best Musical.   A hilarious tale about 20-somethings who move to New York City with big dreams and tiny bank accounts, Avenue Q is presently playing on Broadway, on a 20-city U.S. national tour, and in London on the West End.

For performance schedule and ticket information to Avenue Q, call Tele-Charge at 212 239 6200 or log on to www.avenueq.com
