Ars Nova will present another week of entertainment featuring New York talent.   The upcoming line-up features the final night of The Wikipedia Plays, Elephant Larry, Yoga Bitch and Rock Star Karaoke.

The schedule follows:

Monday, August 6th at 7 PM  - The Wikipedia Plays

"What is 'The Defenestration of Prague?'  And how is it 17 steps removed from "Castration Anxiety"?  Wikipedia knows.  In this brave new world of instant gratification where the Internet can live in your pocket, Ars Nova's Writers Group has created a mini-marathon of short plays that surf the Wikipedia wave through seventeen related entries," state press notes.

Tickets are $10.

Tuesday, August 7th at 8 PM - Elephant Larry
"Elephant Larry journeys on the high seas from the deck of a whaling ship, then launches into Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas,' all while eating pizza.  Geoff Haggerty, Chris Principe, Jeff Solomon, Stefan Lawrence, and Alexander Zalbin (Five Cornell graduates) perform sketch comedy."

Tickets are $10.

Thursday, August 9th at 7 PM - Yoga Bitch
"In this hilariously irreverent solo show, Suzanne Morrison brings to life her true-life tales about what can go wrong on the road to enlightenment.  While attempting to find her Higher Self during a two-month yoga retreat in Bali, she discovers a strange world where blenders become possessed by spirits, Prada lust is at a fever pitch and a milkshake can throw a guru into a rage.   Directed by Jean-Michele Gregory (21 Dog Years), Yoga Bitch takes a hilarious and irreverent look at modern spirituality."

Tickets are $15.

Friday, August 10th at 8 PM - Rock Star Karaoke
"No bouncing ball.  No skipping of disks.  This is real Rock n' Roll with a live band backing you up!  Choose from a long list of your favorite new and classic rock songs, shoot a cheap shot at the bar and grab the microphone.  You are the star on Friday nights in August at Ars Nova!"

Tickets are $5.
