Andrea Burns to Play Final Performance of ON YOUR FEET! on Sunday

Today, producers of the smash-hit musical On Your Feet! announced that Original Broadway Cast member Doreen Montalvo (In the Heights, Giant, Flashdance the Musical) will take over the role of Gloria Fajardo - Gloria Estefan's mother - on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Drama Desk Award winner Andréa Burns, who originated the role, will play her final show on Sunday, February 5, 2017.

Montalvo has been a member of the Ensemble since the show debuted in Chicago in 2015 - originating the roles of Nena and Lucia. She was also an Original Broadway Cast member of In the Heights, earning the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance. Other notable theater credits include: Giant at The Public Theater and the National Tour of Flashdance The Musical. Her TV and Film credits include "Smash," AMC, "One Life to Live," "Law & Order," "The Good Wife," and "Elementary." The Chosen" - as Emilio. Making up the rest of the cast are Alma Cuervo (Beauty and the Beast) as Gloria's grandmother, Consuelo; Alexandria Suarez& Fabi Aguirre as Little Gloria; and Eduardo Hernandez & Kevin Tellez as Nayib/Young Emilio.
