ALICE IN WONDERLAND, A CHRISTMAS CAROL & More to Make Up Literally Alive's 2026-2027 Off-Broadway Season
The Players Theatre will host original adaptations by Brenda Bell and Michael Sgouros, featuring live music.
Literally Alive Family Theatre has announced its upcoming 2026 - 2027 season, playing Off-Broadway at The Players Theatre. All shows feature live original music and a faithful retelling of enduring classic literature.
First up is Alice in Wonderland the Musical, an original adaptation by Brenda Bell and Michael Sgouros that is based on the original Lewis Carroll book. Tumble down the rabbit hole with the wonderfully wild, wacky and whimsical cast of characters such as Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and the rest of the Wonderland crew as they sing and dance their way through Wonderland, culminating in a showdown with the Queen of Hearts and her court.
Will it be off with her head? Find out! As a bonus, a special free Family Workshop is available one hour before for the matinee shows! Workshop times: Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 10am. Dates: September 26 - November 8, 2026. Tickets are available now at https://www.literallyalive.com/.

Literally Alive holds family workshops that accompany the production before the 11am Sunday matinee show, which is also a designated family performance (workshop at 10am).
The show is based on Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale about the joy of community triumphing over selfishness. Follow Ebenezer Scrooge on his emotional journey as he is visited by four forewarning ghosts. Will Scrooge catch the holiday spirit and save himself in the process? Find out by joining us for this special holiday show with a story so warm it will melt the cold heart of even the grumpiest Scrooge! Dates: Dates: November 29 - December 30, 2026.
Ushering in 2027 is Cinderella the Musical by Sgouros and Bell, based off the original classic fairy tale by Charles Perrault. From Cinderella's humble beginnings to happily ever after, audiences will cheer Cinderella on as she contends with nasty stepsisters and a vindictive stepmother. Cinderella relies on animal friends and the magic of her fairy godmother to journey from the cinders all the way to the palace, where she meets the prince and captures his heart - even though he doesn't quite manage to capture her when the clock strikes midnight! Dates: Late February - Early April 2027.
