Sarah Ruhl, the recent recipient of a McArthur Genius Grant, will discuss her work at an upcoming event presented by the Dramatists Guild of America.

Moderated by Tina Howe (Coastal Disturbances, Painting Churches), "A Conversation with Sarah Ruhl" will take place on March 26th at the Frederick Loewe Room in the DGA's New York office (1501 Broadway, between 43rd and 44th Streets, Suite 710).  The discussion will begin at 5:30 PM.

Ruhl's acclaimed play Eurydice will receive its New York premiere at Second Stage beginning May 29th.  Her The Clean House, a Pulitzer Prize finalist previously seen at a number of regional theatres, was presented by Lincoln Center Theater a few months ago.  Other plays by Ruhl include the multi-part Passion Play, Eurydice, Orlando, Late: A Cowboy Song and Demeter in the City.

Her newest play, Dead Man's Cell Phone, will premiere at Steppenwolf in Chicago before playing Playwrights Horizons in New York during the 2007-2008 season.
