3 Broadway Boys Join 'Simply Barbra' at Birdland April 17

Steven Brinberg will bring Simply Barbra: Wait Till We're 64 - The Birthday Concert! to Birdland (315 West 44th Street) on Monday, April 17 @ 7pm. The show is part of The Spring Season @ Birdland, which features top New York performers and songwriters at the legendary music room. The series is presented by Jim Caruso, in association with TheaterMania.com. Tickets are $25 with a $10 food/drink minimum.

Steven Brinberg returns from his symphonic tour with Marvin Hamlisch to bring Simply Barbra: Wait Till We're 64-The Birthday Concert! to Birdland on April 17. To celebrate the Ultimate Diva's birthday, the renowned Streisand impersonator will be joined by Grey Gardens' Matt Cavenaugh, Jersey Boys' Daniel Reichard and The Light in the Piazza's David Burnham. Brinberg will duet with his guest stars in songs from Funny Girl, Nine and Sunset Boulevard. The evening will also feature commentary about Streisand's upcoming tour as well as her two new unauthorized biographies.

Steven Brinberg has performed his Streisand impersonation on stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston and the U.K. He completed a sold-out tour of the U.K. and the West End, following record-breaking runs at London's Jermyn Street Theatre. He is the winner of the MAC Award and the Bistro Award for his performances, and has appeared in the workshops of Ken Page's musical Nightlife.
