Two To Be Honored With Distinguished Service Award At Fox Cities P.A.C. Chairman's Gala

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's Annual Chairman's Gala will be held Thursday, May 24 to benefit the Center's mission and honor the 2017 Distinguished Service Award recipients, Beth Flaherty and Morgan Hogerty.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to members of the community who have persistently served the cause of furthering the Center's mission through advocacy and financial contributions. Their support ensures the Center continues to deliver programs that inspire and build communities.

Beth Flaherty was selected for her overwhelming advocacy for the Center and its mission, including her service as Board Chair from 2015-2017. Flaherty lives the Center's mission, spending much of her time experiencing the cultural programs and educational events the Center offers. Her passion for the arts doesn't stop in the Center's doorway, however, as she advocates and supports the arts through her other important work in the community. Her energetic dedication to the Center's mission inspires many on the board and beyond to believe in the power of the arts.

Morgan Hogerty was selected for her involvement in helping to create some of the Center's most memorable celebrations and fundraising initiatives. Assisting in the execution of exceptional galas and special events is no easy task but through her innovative, 'can-do' attitude, guests have many joyful memories they cherish. Hogerty has been an outstanding advocate for the Center since its inception 15 years ago. She has shared all of the good the Center does for the community and also shares her talents with many other arts organizations throughout the Fox Cities. She is a vocal advocate of all types of art and has dedicated her time to ensuring that all can enjoy, experience and create.

"Beth and Morgan both display an unwavering passion for the Center's mission, and the power the arts have to unite our community," said Board of Directors Chair Angelo Ninivaggi. "It is only fitting that we recognize their distinguished service, support and advocacy this year as we celebrate the Center's 15 years of making a difference in the Fox Cities and beyond."
