Fox Cities to Present SOUTH PACIFIC, Sept. 14-19
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center will present the touring reinvention of the 2008 Tony Award winning musical, South Pacific. The show won seven honors including Best Musical Revival and Best Director (Bartlett Sher).
South Pacific follows two love stories set against the background of World War II. The musical throws into contrast the happiness of the young lovers and the struggles of war. The music from South Pacific has become widely recognized, and includes showtunes like "Some Enchanted Evening," "There is Nothin' Like a Dame," and "I'm Gonna Wash that Man Right Outa My Hair."
