BWW Preview: THE LION KING Set to Play at Fox Cities P.A.C.
Disney's THE LION KING is set to play at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton from February 7-24. Here's what you should know to be prepared to see the show.
- THE LION KING has enjoyed unprecedented popularity. Over 90 million people around the world have seen the show, and there have been 25 global productions.
- THE LION KING has also received tremendous acclaim, with a whopping 70 major international theater awards, including six Tony Awards.
- The music is hard to beat. Elton John's familiar music from the movie is included in the production, along with captivating new songs by other composers.
- THE LION KING is a visual feast full of complex costumes and beautiful dance.
