BWW Preview: SOMETHING ROTTEN! Set to Stage at Fox Cities P.A.C.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! will play at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton from October 23-28. Let's get to the bottom of why audiences love SOMETHING ROTTEN!

Set in the 1590s, SOMETHING ROTTEN! combines Shakespeare and musical theater in a new and innovative way. The show follows two brothers desperately trying to compete with the hottest playwright in town, William Shakespeare. Under the advice of a soothsayer, the brothers begin writing the world's first musical.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, 8 Drama Desk Awards and a Grammy Award.

But beyond it's intriguing plot and it's acclaim, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is hilarious. With plenty of puns, jokes, theater references and vigorous dancing in Elizabethan costumes, there is no shortage of laughs.
