The classic play Arsenic and Old Lace opens this Friday September 30 with a 7 PM show. The show runs from September 30 - October 23 with shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7, and Sunday afternoons at 3. We have a "pay what you can" preview night this Thursday at 7. Buy your tickets online or call 868-4913. TIckets are only $15 for adults, $13 for seniors/miitary/students, and $11 for kids under 12. You can save even more with a season ticket.

ACT presented Arsenic and Old Lace in 1957 with the Hollywood actor Boris Karloff playing the role written for him and preformed by him when the play originally opened on Broadway. Mr. Karloff was unavailable for our current production (having passed away in 1969), but you will see the renowned Linda Benson as Martha Brewster. Martha and her sister Abby are the kindest and most generous elderly ladies there could be. There is nothing that they would not do to help a person in need. They have kindly donated some of their home-made elderberry wine, with their secret ingredients, for audience members at intermission. And don't be surprised if you feel the presence of Boris Karloff channeling through Bill McAllister, our local KTVA reporter, who appears as Jonathon Brewster. Mr Karloff's monetary donation in the 50s helped ACT build its original theater space in the early 60s. The sale of that building eventually led to the purchase of our current space and we expect M r. Karloff's presence made the transition.

Don't wait too long before making reservations for this popular show. Buy your tickets online or call 868-4913.

Auditions for Inspecting Carol on this Sunday and Monday, October 2 and 3.

Auditions for the hilarious Christmas comedy, Inspecting Carol, directed by Krista Schwarting, are scheduled for Sunday October 2 and Monday October 3 at 6 PM. If you are not able to make this audition time, contact the director Krista Schwarting to make other arrangements to audition. The show runs from November 25 - December 23. No preparation of material is necessary. You will be asked to read from the script of the play to be auditioned for, in dialogue with others. The cast includes 1 about 10 year old boy, 7 men and 4 women.

A Christmas Carol meets The Government Inspector meets Noises Off in this hilarious hit from Seattle. A man who asks to audition at a small theatre is mistaken for an informer for the National Endowment for the Arts. Everyone caters to the bewildered wannabe actor and he is given a role in the current production, A Christmas Carol. Everything goes wrong and hilarity is piled upon hilarity. Perfect anytime, this delight is particularly appropriate at Christmas. "I laughed till I cried.... Sheer comic genius." Journal American.
"Hundreds of jokes ... about ... anything that strikes the author's sardonic fancy."-Seattle Weekly
"A razzle dazzle of funny characters and ingenious jokes."-Seattle Post
"A Dickens of a giggle."-Seattle Times
