In February, Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill will bring George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession to the stage in an adaptation by Matthew Yde which was commissioned by the theatre over a year ago. Finally, the production hits the boards.

Deloris Van Cartier is an aspiring singer in Philadelphia, where she is auditioning to perform at her gangster boyfriend's nightclub. Deloris believes that Curtis is going to introduce her to a big producer, but is upset when he tells her she is not ready. Hurt and rejected, Deloris decides to break up with him, but when she goes to find him she accidentally sees him kill one of his cronies. Deloris runs to the police, who place her in hiding at a convent until Curtis is brought to trial.

AMP Concerts Wins Grant For The Second Year In A Row To Present The Levitt AMP Santa Fe Music Series

Earlier this month, the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation named Santa Fe, New Mexico as one of 15 small to mid-sized towns and cities across America to win a Levitt AMP Grant Award of $25K in matching funds to present a free concert series at The Santa Fe Railyard. The grant was awarded to AMP Concerts, who manage and produce the Railyard series.

Legendary performer and composer Yanni returns to Popejoy Hall on June 13, 2018 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Live at the Acropolis. Live at the Acropolis was released in 1994 and is the first ever live album and concert video from the maestro. The maestro will kick off the Yanni 25 Live At The Acropolis Anniversary Concert Tour on April 23, 2018at the King Center in Melbourne, FL. The tour will keep him on the road through the summer, hitting cities across North America including Atlanta, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Cleveland, New York, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles and more. Albuquerque Little Theatre is adding two adult classes and a senior troupe in 2018. Jim Cady has been brought on to teach the Actor's Workshop and Director's Corner. Jim began his life in the theatre at 18 after winning a full scholarship to the famed Pasadena Playhouse. In the last seven years he has directed over twenty-five award winning plays here in Albuquerque.
