Rachel Sedaka presents a night of acoustic blues at the Black Box Theatre, 430 N Downtown Mall in Las Cruces, on Thursday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. Hailing from Ventura's Gold Coast of Southern California, this troubadour writes songs of adventure on the road in her 35 foot vintage 1971 school bus "Patience" with a clever, refreshing perspective on life.Influenced by the seasoned bluesy style of Bonnie Raitt, the work ethic of the Grateful Dead, and the raw emotions of Janis Joplin, Rachel's stage presence is strong and undeniably special.
