A special Sunday, August 6 matinee concert featuring Crystal Gayle, the beautiful diva of country music, has been added to the Spencer Theater's schedule. The Sunday, August 6 concert is at 2 p.m. Excellent seats are available for $39-$89. Call the Spencer Box Office at 575.336.4800 or go online to www.spencertheater.com for tickets. A pre-show pork chop buffet ($20) is also available for $20.

(Gayle is also performing at the Spencer on Saturday, August 5, but that concert is SOLD OUT).

Gayle is a multiple Grammy and CMA award winner with crystalline vocals and numerous top Billboard hits including: Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue, Cry Me A River, You, I Still Miss Someone, Don't Come Home a Drinking (With Lovin' on Your Mind) and more. • Shining A New Light On The Arts Saturday, July 29 at 8 p.m. ($39 - $59) An original juxtaposition of dramatic movement, classical singing and vigorous dance starring an international cast of singers and dancers (including Jackie Spencer's granddaughter Natalie Bancroft, the production's lead vocalist and artistic director), with music accompaniment by the Las Cruces Chamber Ensemble. Spencer Theater is a world-class performance hall located 12 miles north of downtown Ruidoso.
