Following his sell-out success in the Transatlantic Talent series earlier this year, New York's multi-award-winning Liza Minnelli impersonator Rick Skye will return to the Theatre Museum, the home of his London debut for one week only in A Slice O' Minnelli from Monday, September 4 to Sunday, September 10.

"Rick Skye impersonates Liza Minnelli with wit and style in A Slice O' Minnelli, which received a spontaneous standing ovation when first performed at the Theatre Museum for one night in June. This Broadway veteran and New York cabaret performer, who won the 2006 MAC Award (Manhattan Association of Cabaret Artists & Clubs) for Best Impersonator shines in a tribute with a twist, revelling in deliciously parodic lyrics and a pair of unquestionably alluring legs," state press notes.

"Displaying Liza's physical and vocal mannerisms along with a rafter-raising voice, Rick performs an outrageous show, a non-stop production number. He perfectly captures her sibilance and overly wide-eyed manner, tracing her legendary career through famous songs whilst offering revelatory commentary and personally penned new lyrics." He is accompanied by New York based Musical Director Michael Ferreri, a singer / pianist who has previously performed his own solo show at both Jermyn Street Theatre and Lauderdale House.

Skye began his career studying acting with Stella Adler whilst simultaneously dancing with the Joffrey Ballet. He toured with Ann Reinking in The American Dance Machine, and was a member of the original Broadway cast of Stephen Sondheim?s Merrily We Roll Along. He has previously performed A Slice O' Minnelli in New York and Chicago, as well as other cities throughout the US, and will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer prior to his London dates.

A Slice O' Minnelli is produced by Transatlantic Talent in association with the Theatre Museum as part of the Theatre Museum's Inside Theatreland series of live events.

The Theatre Museum is located on Russell Street, Covent Garden, London WC2.

The performance schedule is: Mon. - Thurs. 8.00pm, Sat. 6.00pm & 9.00pm, Sun.4.00pm & 7.00pm (no performance on Fri., Sept. 8).  Tickets are £15.00 / £12.50 Concs.  Call the Box Office at 0870 162 0298 (24hrs) for tickets.
